BREAST CHECK

Every year 11,500 women and 85 men die of breast cancer in the UK.

Early detection saves lives.

This cause is very close to our hearts at HYBRYD, since our Brand Manager herself was diagnosed.

We’ve put together a breast check guide for you and a list of signs and symptoms to look out for.

MONTHLY CHECKLIST

1) LOOK FOR LUMPS AND SWELLING IN YOUR BREASTS, CHEST-WALLS AND ARM-PITS

2) NOTICE ANY CHANGES IN YOUR SKIN: IT CAN LOOK LIKE ORANGE-PEEL OR DIMPLES. IF YOU BELIEVE SOMETHING IS NOT NORMAL, GET IT CHECKED

 3) check your nipples for discharge, indentation, rashes or change of direction

4) look! Pushing your hands on your hips and raising them above your head in the mirror.

EARLY DETECTION

Early detection saves lives and gives the best possible chance of survival in the case of any abnormality. The earlier it is detected, the more treatment options available.

It's important to keep yourself safe and keep a look out for any changes as best you can, but keep in mind there are numerous ways breast cancer can be detected, including:

Examinations (Self and Clinical)

Mammograms

Ultrasounds
